About the Program

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at AAU stands out among existing programs in Abu Dhabi and the UAE through its interdisciplinary approach, which leverages the university’s existing strengths in pharmacy and Nutrition and Dietetics. Unlike other programs, AAU’s Nursing curriculum is designed to integrate foundational science courses with practical training from allied health fields, fostering a holistic approach to healthcare education. This interdisciplinary foundation enables nursing students to gain insights into pharmacotherapy, nutritional science, and public health, making them well-rounded practitioners equipped to handle complex healthcare needs.

Upon completion of the program, the graduates will be able to:

To obtain a degree of “Bachelor of Science in Nursing”, a student must successfully complete: 

• 120 credit hours, with a cumulative GPA of 2 out of 4.

• A minimum attendance of 80%.

• Pass all the courses of the program.

• Pass Exit Exam.
